Major Routes in Shropshire

Roads to Avoid in Shropshire

B4387 Minsterley Bridge and Wellington Road are both closed because of roadworks. Vehicles supposed to pass through Minsterley Bridge can detour via Bailey Bridge. Larger lorries may not be suited to pass by this bridge. For those who are supposed to pass by Wellington Road, diversion is signed on scene.
Both ways between Offoxey Road and Newport Road are going through roadworks and water main works that cause slow moving vehicles.
There are ongoing resurfacing roadworks at A5112 Battlefield Road. New traffic lights and new road layout are being done at Harlescott Crossroads, in Shrewsbury.
Station Road is closed until the 22nd of June due to bridge maintenance at Stottesdon. Wellington Road is also closed until the 25th of June because of roadworks between Lilyhurst Road and B5060 School Road. The diversion is signed on the scene. Snitton Lane is closed both ways until the 1st of June because of an ongoing transfer of water supplies between A4117 Ludlow Road and Caynham Road.
