Roads to Avoid in Scotland
Roadworks or closed roads are the major reasons for delay in major parts of Scotland: Highlands and Islands; North East Scotland; Tayside and Central; Glasgow and W. Scotland; Edinburg and E. Scotland; and South Scotland. In Highlands and Islands, there are major roadworks particularly at Sconser, in Sconser, causing delay. There are also roadworks at Ralia, in Newtonmore; and near B9154 in Moy. For hassle-free travel, taking alternative routes is advised.
Similarly, in North East Scotland Hadded Street are closed both ways for roadworks between Exchange Street and Carmelite Street in Aberdeen. The roadworks are also affecting Stirling Street between Hadden Street and Imperial Place and Exchange street between Trinity Lane and A93 Guild Street. Temporary gross weight limit of 7.5 tons on New Street both ways between Seafield Square and Burnside Street in Rothes is affecting all driving lanes.
