Roads to Avoid in Northamptonshire

For vehicles passing through Sheep Street and Silver Street, the lane heading Westbound of these streets are closed because of roadworks. Vehicles detour via Doddington Road heading to B571 Croyland Road, going to A5128 Northampton Road, and out to A5128 Oxford Street.
Harvey Reeves Road and Edgar Mobbs Way are also closed because of emergency repairs made between St. James Mill Road East and A5076 Upton Way, in Northampton. Vehicles passing through these streets can pass by Uptown Way then Sixfields and out to Weedon Road.
Closed due to drainage works, Priors Haw Road will be open again by the 1st of June. Port Road is also closed due to resurfacing work. The end date of the project will by the 26th of November.
There is also light to heavy traffic at Poundfield Road, A45 Highman Ferrers, A427 Westcott Way, Back Lane, and High Street due to roadworks, water main work, and temporary traffic lights.
