Roads to Avoid in North Yorkshire |

A19 Fulford Road is closed due to an accident between A1036 Fishergate, in York and Broadway West. Northbound vehicles detour along Broadway. Vehicles heading out of the city are diverted back to Cemetry Road. Police are directing over the traffic.
A19 Barbican Road is also closed due to gas main work between A1036 Paragon Street and Wellington Street, in York. Expect congestion in this area.
To avoid getting stuck on traffic, avoid Bedale Road at Portlands, in Leeming Bar and High Street at Finkle Street, in Knaresborough. Both are under electricity and traffic lights work.
White Wall Lane, King’s Road, Leeming Lane, Leases Road, Lupton Bank, Newbiggin, Exelby Lane, Sinderby Lane, Humphrey Bulk Lane, Getenby Village Road, Street Lane, and Riggs Road are all closed due to roadworks.
Electricity work on both Castle Road and Franklin Street is causing traffic. Meanwhile, roadworks and temporary lights are causing traffic in North Yorkshire.
