This is a domestic recycling centre so there a restrictions on what can be recycled here. Always check to be sure what you are doing and to make sure that you have to correct waste for the centre so that you don't get turned away after driving there with a loaded van. The things that are accepted here are as follows; wooden furniture, used engine oil, empty food and drink cans only, emptied and folded flat cardboard, clear, brown, green and blue glass bottles and jars only, green waste, grass cuttings, small shrubs / trees, tree prunings, leaves, empty gas bottles, fridges, freezers, electrical goods, fluorescent tubes, foil, liquid food cartons, light bulbs including energy saving, shredded paper, newspaper, magazines, paper, textiles, paint, metals and used cooking oil.
Always be sure to call and double check that the waste you have will be accepted.
The opening times for the centre vary throughout the year, January to February it's 08.00 to 16.00, March is 08.00 to 18.00, April to August is 08.00 to 20.00, September is 08.00 to 19.00, October to the end of BST is 08.00 to 18.00 and end of BST to December is 08.00 to 16.00. Closed on Boxing Day, New Year's Day and Christmas Day.
