Roads to Avoid in Middlesex
Police incident, roadworks, and water main works are the major causes of slow traffic in Central London. In Vauxhall for instance, Wandsworth Road is closed bothways due to police incident between Lansdowne and Thorncroft Street. Also, due to roadworks between A302 Wilton and Neathouse Place, Wilton road is closed Northbound. Motorists can take Bridge Palce, Buckingham Palace and Eccleston Bridge as alternative roads.
North Side Wandsworth Common is also closed due gas main work between Marcilly Road and B234 Spencer Park in Wandsworth, causing delays during rush hours. Taking A214 Trinity Road and Spencer Park is advised to avoid delays or slow traffic.
Also, due to water main work between A3201 Marshalsea Road and A3200 Southwark in Southwark, Borough High Street is closed southbound, causing slow traffic in the area. Buses are diverting via Southwark Bridge Road, Southwark Street, and Marshalsea Road.
