Due to bridge maintenance work between The Fleet and Stanton Lane in Stoney Stanton, Huncote Road is closed both sideways, causing slow traffic at The Fleet and Stanton Lane. Alternative roads are Long Street, The B41114 Coventry Road, Broughton Road, and Station Road.
Due to roadworks between B5366 Saffron Lane and Whittier Road in Leicester , Knighton Lane East is closed westbound and will be reopened on 22 June 2010. Alternative routes are Whittier Road, Saffron Lane and Copinger Road.
Also, underground services work roadworks on Upper Bond Street causes slow traffic between Well Lane and factory Road in Hinckley. For faster travel in Leicestershire, avoiding the closed roads or taking the alternative routes is encouraged.
