Roads to Avoid in Hertfordshire

Roadworks between Watford and J16 M40, narrow lanes and speed restriction of 50 mph both ways in Hertfordshire are causing slow traffic. Delays are expected during rush hours. The M25 is congested with the queueing traffic clockwise between J17 and J16 M40 in Maple Cross.

Heavy traffic is also expected on Gascoyne Way as one lane is closed due to roadworks around A119 Ware Road in Hertford. Roadworks are expected to end in the 28th of August 2010.

Due to a gas main work near Argyle Way in Stevenage, another lane is closed on Gunnels Wood Road. One lane is also closed on Barnet Way northbound due to tree cutting and grass cutting between Stirling Corner and Watford By-Pass in Edgware.
