All of the fallowing things are accepted here: textiles, yellow pages and phone books, soil (There is a limit of one car boot load per occasion of soil and hardcore from households), soft books, video recorders, video cameras, drills, sewing machines, lawn mowers, games consoles etc, small electrical appliances e.g vacuum cleaners, irons, toasters, coffee machines, clocks, radios, drills, sewing machines, lawn mowers,green waste, household batteries, plastic bottles, rubble, scrap metal,metal - scrap, steel & aluminium cans, mobile phones, paper, rigid Plastics (eg garden chair), hoes, small electrical appliances,energy saving light bulbs (compact fluorescent bulbs - both broken and unbroken), engine (mineral) oil, fluorescent light tubes (both broken and unbroken) and other things like wood and timber.
Always check before you visit by calling the centre to make sure that you have the correct waste for that particular centre.

1st November to 31st January 08:00 to 16:00 , 1st February to 31st October 08:00 to 17:00, 1st May to 31st August 08:00 to 17:00 (Tuesdays 08:00 to 20:00) also closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day, the same items of waste are accepted as above and also these opening times apply to the centre above too.
The same applies here as does above when bringing waste to the centre, always call ahead just in case there is something that you have that will not be accepted. This will save you time if you happen to be turned away.
